Job Summary
Mature, enthusiastic, conscientious and reliable individual sought to assist in all aspects of service supporting Skidmore's summer conference and events participants and programs. Duties include providing excellent customer service to our summer guests, such as greeting program participants, responding to questions and relaying accurate information, providing a staff presence at various conference functions, and verifying the physical set-up of the spaces as well as the set-up for Media Services and Catering across campus, as well as monitoring events. This position requires a certain level of technologically proficiency and will be taught how to use databases central to the office's functions. This position will also work as part of a summer team of individuals providing general office support for Special Programs which will include: answering phone, photocopying, running errands, data entry and other related duties as assigned. Must be able to serve as a resource for and a positive representative of Skidmore College. Work hours are generally 8:30 a.m. and 4:30pm. Monday - Friday, some additional evenings and weekends, as needed.

Minimum Qualifications
Customer service experience required. Interest and/or experience in hospitality and/or event support is preferred. General knowledge of office assistance, and desire to work as part of a team is a must.
