Advertised Salary:
Minimum $64,000 ANNUAL (12 months)
Depending on Qualifications

Degree and area of specialization:
Ph.D. required in Food Science, Bacteriology/Microbiology or related fields.

Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:
Preferred at least 1 year post PhD. Expertise in microbiological testing of dairy products or bacteria and genomics associated with dairy related microbiota (microbial communities) including yeasts, molds and bacteria. Familiarity with cheese manufacture and food safety practices preferred. Excellent oral and written communications skills.

License or Certificate:


Position Summary:
The scientist will make significant and creative contributions to the research and outreach activities of the Center for Dairy Research.
