Advertised Salary:
Minimum $34,000 ANNUAL (12 months)
Depending on Qualifications

Degree and area of specialization:
Bachelor's degree required; degree in biology or a closely related field is preferred.

Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:
Experience in molecular biologic techniques including DNA extraction, PCR and genotyping is preferred. Preferred 1-2 years of experience with mouse handling with exposure to oral gavage and intraperitoneal injections.

A minimum of 7 years of experience is required for appointment at the senior level. Prefix assignment determined by years of relevant work experience.

Position Summary:
The Department of Surgery, Division of General Surgery is currently seeking a laboratory technician to assist in a research program in the field of anal cancer.
