Job Summary The College of Agriculture, Food and Environment seeks an Associate Director of Alumni Engagement and Communications. The Associate Director of Alumni Engagement and Communications is responsible for the planning and implementation of programs and projects that strategically engage alumni in strengthening programs and provide tangible benefits to alumni. Serving as an ambassador, this individual is charged with securing commitments from alumni to provide professional expertise and volunteer service; collaborating with colleagues in the College and University to maintain pathways for alumni participation that advance the goals of the College and the University; partnering with philanthropy colleagues to identify, cultivate and solicit and steward alumni giving; and serving as a liaison between the College Alumni Association Board of Directors and the academic and administrative leadership. This individual also manages all Alumni Communications and works with Philanthropy to coordinate and produce a comprehensive yearly calendar focusing on engagement; as well as, serves as the manager and liaison for College events. The Associate Director of Alumni Engagement and Communications reports to the Senior Director of Philanthropy for the College of Agriculture, Food and Environment and is a member of the College Philanthropy and Alumni management team.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
Does this position have supervisory responsibilities? No
Preferred Education/Experience Event management experience required.
Graphic and communications training required.
Experience with InDesign and Adobe programs a plus.
