The School of Business Administration at Oakland University is recruiting a faculty member to teach legal environment of business, international business law and business ethics courses at the graduate and undergraduate levels beginning in the 2018 -2019 academic year.  This position is a full-time tenure track position.  The candidate’s primary teaching will be focused in the area of the legal environment of business for undergraduate and MBA students over fall and winter semesters at Oakland University and branch campuses.  Candidates must have no less than three years legal experience; an active research agenda; and a history of scholarly publications. We are particularly interested in individuals who have previous experience teaching law at the university or law-school level; membership and participation as a member of a law school law review; experience as a law clerk at an appellate court or federal district court; and an undergraduate, masters, or doctorate degree from an AACSB-accredited college or university, or other relevant postgraduate degrees. Candidates must demonstrate experience with or a commitment to diversity and inclusion.

The School of Business Administration is AACSB-accredited. It has 2,000 undergraduate and 550 master’s students. The school is committed to enhancing its instructional technology and global management efforts. Minimum Qualifications

 

  • a J.D. from an ABA-accredited school of law
