Baylor University’s School of Engineering and Computer Science is seeking an Academic Advisor to assist in retaining engineering students and in clarifying life goals, developing educational plans, selecting courses, evaluating academic programs, and understanding/ using institutional resources. Additionally, this position will maintain relationships with ECS departments and chairs to understand their profession, career opportunities, Baylor policies, procedures, and curriculum changes. Academic Advisors also work with students who are struggling academically to ensure retention and academic success at Baylor.
Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree, less than one-year relevant experience, and a Christian faith are required. A Master’s Degree and three years’ relevant experience is preferred.
