Salary Range: (Anticipated hiring range: $80,000 - $100,000 per year) Salary commensurate with background and experience of the individual selected. Position Description:
Cal Poly is seeking a talented, bright, and driven leader for its Procure-to-Pay team. This is an opportunity to direct the Procure-to-Pay operations focusing on delivering the best value to the organization.
The Position:
As part of Cal Poly's strategic Procure to Pay team, you be responsible for campus wide sourcing strategy execution, influencing spend, negotiations, payment, and distribution operations. Opportunities span from developing a team to running logistics for a $180 million student housing project. As part of the strategic Procure to Pay team, you will play a part in helping the University continue delivering unforgettable educational experiences.
The Manager:
This position will be supported by an Executive Director and staff that collaborate daily and encourage on-going professional development to enable job growth. Success in this position requires high energy and team building skills; ability to meet cost savings targets, value risk mitigation, and completion of strategic projects

As a leader on the Procure-to-Pay team you will join a diverse team of 20+ self-motivated members that have fun in their work, celebrate success, and are dedicated to partnering to achieve client goals. The Procure-to-Pay team is a key program within the Strategic Business Services department, dedicated to supporting the University goals in the areas of Risk Management, Real Estate, Policy Compliance, and Procure-to-Pay.

Minimum Qualifications (Staff Only):
A Bachelor's degree required with at least three years of progressively responsible professional experience in procurement operations within a large organization, including a minimum of three year supervisory/management experience.

Must be willing to travel and attend training programs off-site for occasional professional development.
Must be able to work additional hours, occasional holidays, and adjust working hours to meet special jobs. May be called back periodically to perform work as needed on an emergency basis.
