Summary of Job Duties
The Fitness Monitor facilitates Group Exercise class participation, room set up, and cleaning.
Specific duties include:
  • Administer Group Exercise participant check-in procedures using a computer software program
  • Enforce program eligibility, and instruct participants in proper program registration methods
  • Secure participant safety measures by monitoring condition of facility and equipment
  • Provide customer service and accurate participant counts
  • Ensure cleanliness and upkeep of facilities and equipment through cleaning, sweeping, and towel collection
  • Attend mandatory in-service trainings, maintain CPR /First Aid/ AED certification, assist Program Directors as necessary, promote safe and courteous behavior while enforcing facility regulations, and other duties as assigned
