Human Resources (HR) Generalist

Job Description:
HUMAN RESOURCES (HR) GENERALIST, MIT Investment Management Company (MITIMCo), to partner with the manager, organizational and administrative services on fostering an engaging, productive, supportive, and positive workplace. Will administer various HR activities including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee engagement and recognition, training and professional development, and diversity; ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations; and support strategic planning and implementation. Responsibilities include full-cycle sourcing and hiring of new employees; assisting with implementation and management of affirmative action programs; preparing search plans and reports; promoting a diverse workforce and helping ensure managers have appropriate resources and training; processing new hire actions, coordinating orientation, and providing coaching on onboarding best practices; processing terminations and conducting exit interviews; assisting with administering annual performance review processes, providing guidance to managers and staff, and creating and delivering training/workshops; developing, managing, and implementing rewards and recognition program; supporting training and professional development planning; and handling a variety of other duties as needed.

Job Requirements:
REQUIRED: bachelor's degree; at least three years' HR experience; proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint); exceptional interpersonal, customer service, and verbal and written communication skills; highly effective collaboration skills and affinity for working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment; ability to multitask, remain flexible to accommodate changing priorities, lead and deliver projects within defined timeframe, and manage competing goals/projects; meticulous attention to detail; ability to resolve complex problems in a thorough and timely manner with minimal supervision; discretion and appropriate judgment with highly sensitive/confidential matters; proven ability to interface with all levels of staff; and willingness to suggest and follow through on improvements and refinements to improve overall effectiveness.
