Conference Services Manager Facilities Services Of

Gettysburg College is seeking a full-time Conference Services Manager to work in the Facilities Services Department.  The position is responsible for the coordination and scheduling of an extensive summer conference program, consisting of 80+ programs.  The position also provides leadership to the Facilities Services Department in the planning and coordination of Campus sponsored special events.   The position will also manage the marketing and sales efforts by providing sales goals and strategies to attract new and existing leads, and internal academic camps. In addition, this position is responsible for managing and maintaining 15+ program budgets. This is position reports directly to the Assistant Director of Facilities.  This position will supervise the Conference Services Supervisor.
 

A Bachelor's degree is preferred (preferably in marketing or hospitality) with experience in event management and planning required.  Experience in higher education is desired. The successful candidate will be a team player, have a strong customer service focus and philosophy, work flexible hours (to include nights and weekends during the summer months), and work independently. Budget and financial management experience preferred.
