The Position:
Applications are currently being accepted for Executive Assistant to the Office of the President / Executive Vice Chancellor in the Business and Technology Services Division, located at the District Office. Hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. daily. Selected candidate must be willing to adjust work days/hours based on the department's needs.

Please note that an employee may be transferred to any site at the option of the Chancellor.

Examples of Duties and required qualifications can be found on the linked classification description.The Executive Assistant is expected to meet the qualifications the classification description displayed as Desired Qualifications and Training and Experience as well as the Licensure upon completing the first six (6) months of employment in an Executive Assistant assignment.Some of the following qualifications may be duplicates from the list on the linked classification description. Those qualifications below that are not duplicates from the list on the linked classification description are desired or preferred but not required. Minimum of three to five years of experience supporting a senior level manager/administrator as an Executive Secretary or Executive Assistant. Strong organizational and technical skills to include proficiency in all Microsoft Suite applications such as: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Publisher. Personal characteristics to include a dependable work ethic, personable manner and professional demeanor appropriate to working in an executive administrators office and maintain professional confidentiality. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Pay Information:
Range B ($4,308.43 $7,193.10) per month based on the current Supervisory and Professional Employees Association Salary Schedule B

Initial salary placement is commensurate with related experience and promotional rules. The District offers a comprehensive fringe benefit package including employer paid: medical, dental, and vision plans; sick and vacation leave; and opportunities for professional development. Initial Salary Placement, Promoted or transferred employees will be placed as specified in the SPAA Supervisory & Professional Administrators Association Handbook. This position is FLSA Exempt and does not accrue overtime. A temporary probationary period will be applied to the employee entering this assignment.
