Administrative Services Manager


In support of the University's mission, Human Resources partners with University communities to provide a broad array of programs and services contributing to a progressive and productive work environment that meets the challenges of a changing world.

Under minimal supervision, this critical position is responsible for complex executive administrative duties which include independent management of projects, assisting the VP in managing and prioritizing communications with internal and external constituencies; organizing and planning logistics of meetings, retreats and events; editing, proofreading, and composing correspondence and reports; participating in or leading assigned projects for the VP s office; and organizing and planning complex arrangements. Manages assigned administrative support staff.

Qualifications:

Basic Requirements:
  • Knowledge and skills as typically acquired through completion of Bachelor s degree or equivalent.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience, including leadership experience.
  • Strong computer skills and aptitude including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, enterprise HR applications, Webex or other remote meeting applications, and website maintenance.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
  • Project management skills.
  • Proven analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Sound judgment to handle sensitive information.
  • Demonstrated ability with financial management matters.
  • Ability to multi-task and to work effectively with a wide range of individuals, from Board members and heads of major international organizations to students from cultures across the globe.
  • Discretion, integrity, stamina, mature judgment, ability to work under pressure.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • SalesForce and PeopleSoft experience.
