Position Summary:
Tenure track position at the Assistant Professor level (a combination of research and instruction) specializing in advanced machinery systems engineering for the efficient and environmentally sustainable production of food, animal feed, energy feedstock and bio-products. Research areas may include, but are not limited to: 1) Integration of machines, mechatronics, sensors. communication, artificial intelligence and novel control and drive technologies, 2) Autonomous and robotic machines 3) Advanced machine design applied to sustainable agricultural and bioproducts production systems.
