Financial Aid Counselor/Assistant Director of Financial Aid

The Financial Aid Counselor/Assistant Director of Financial Aid performs a variety of functions related to federal, state and institutional financial aid programs, including awarding, monitoring and reporting; provide customer-service and counseling to prospective and current Denison students, as well as a liaison for the Office of Financial Aid to the Denison community; and advance the goals of the Financial Aid Department, in support of the University Strategic Plan, working closely with Director of Financial Aid. A Bachelor's degree and knowledge of the basic principles of federal financial aid programs and the financial aid process, including the FAFSA application, student eligibility, verification, and Satisfactory Academic Progress is required.
