APPOINTMENTS FROM THE PART-TIME POOL ARE TEMPORARY AND OFTEN MADE JUST PRIOR TO THE START OF THE ACADEMIC TERM, AND APPLICANTS MUST BE AVAILABLE ON VERY SHORT NOTICE.

The College of Agriculture, Food and Environmental Sciences at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo is seeking applications for a pool of part-time lecturers. Positions available as determined by need during the 2016-2017 academic year and summer session. Possible teaching assignments in the area of supervision of students in internship courses with local agricultural growers.

Minimum Qualifications (Staff Only):
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required in Agricultural Science, Plant Sciences, Soil Science or related field required. Must demonstrate commitment to diversity. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
M.S. preferred. Industy experience in related fields highly desirable. Experience working with Veterans.
Special Conditions:
A background check (including a criminal records check) must be completed satisfactorily before any candidate can be offered a position with the CSU. Failure to satisfactorily complete the background check may affect the application status of applicants or continued employment of current CSU employees who apply for the position.
