Responsibilities
Teaching duties may consist of day or evening classes. Teaching responsibilities will include both undergraduate and graduate courses, and likely include online courses. Additional responsibilities include research and service consistent with the mission of the University and the College of Business Administration and Public Policy. Published research in support of the mission is expected and required for tenure and promotion.

The Department of Accounting, Finance & Economics has 15 full-time faculty. The department offers undergraduate concentrations in accounting, finance, and international business and a certificate in accounting. The department is a major contributor to the MBA Online program.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Applicants are required to have a completed Ph. D. in finance from an AACSB accredited university or be in the final stages of completing their dissertation from an AACSB accredited university at the time of employment with completion scheduled by the start of Fall 2018 semester. A commitment to teaching excellence and publishing research in quality journals is required. Applicants for Associate Professor are further required to have a track record of strong publication record in quality journals as well as excellent teaching evaluations.
Experience in teaching undergraduates from diverse age, socioeconomic, cultural, and academic backgrounds.
Preferred Qualifications
Besides possessing the minimum qualifications, the preferred qualifications include professional experience in taxation, Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Advising and willingness/ability to teach one or more of the following courses in the areas of Business Law, Governmental Accounting, Advanced Accounting, Accounting Information System, and Auditing.
