Assistant/Associate Professor of Accounting

The School of Accountancy in the Strome College of Business at Old Dominion University ( ODU ) invites applications for the position of Assistant/Associate Professor of Accounting (tenure-track), subject to approval, starting the Fall 2018 semester. The School offers high quality M.S. and B.S.B.A programs in Accounting. Both the School of Accountancy and the Strome College of Business are AACSB accredited.
Candidates must possess a doctorate in Accounting or a related field from an AACSB accredited university (or ABD near completion) and be highly committed to conducting quality research. Teaching in-person and/or online in undergraduate and graduate level courses in Accounting is expected. The position is open to all areas of accounting, but special consideration will be given to those with strong quantitative skills whose teaching and research focus is financial accounting. Professional certification and prior accounting/business experience and recent teaching experience are preferred.
