Job Summary | Our Staff Support Associates in UK Health Connections will provide consumers and patient's 24/7 access to UK HealthCare. Responsibilities include providing physician information for referrals; forwarding calls to appropriate clinics and departments (assists to ensure efficient unit flow; forwards necessary information to appropriate individuals using telephone, intercom, paging system, and/or computer; facilitates assignments). |
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities | The ideal candidate will have an excellent medical terminology background; be well organized; exceptional communication skills (written & verbal); enjoy working closely with their co-workers in a supportive team environment; outstanding computer skills; and above average customer service skills. |
