Job Summary The College of Agriculture, Food & Environment department of Agriculture Communication seeks a Graphic Artist. The Graphic Artist primarily provides graphic design, layout, and illustration services to authors in the college. Working in the Publishing section of the Agricultural Communications unit, the candidate must be proficient in Adobe layout, illustration, and image manipulation software. A solid knowledge of print production is also desirable.
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities High proficiency: Adobe design/layout software (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop). Moderate proficiency: MS Word, MS Excel.
Does this position have supervisory responsibilities? No
Preferred Education/Experience BA or BFA preferred and one year of evidence of professional design/layout work, especially with respect to longer and/or technical documents.
