IT Project Coordinator I



IT PROJECT COORDINATOR, MIT Global Education & Career Development (GECD), to join a highly collaborative unit that helps students develop career plans and participate in global experiences. Will coordinate technology projects, including project schedules, coordinating implementation, and providing technical expertise in the selection of new online applications; coordinate first-tier computer support, repairs, and contract machine reporting; act as the office's liaison to the division's desktop support office; provide direct and full support for all non-standard software and hardware; troubleshoot, upgrade, and maintain all office computers, printers, and other equipment; train users on software; and provide support to the communications specialist for a Drupal-based website. Will report to the executive director.

Job Requirements

REQUIRED: a bachelor's degree in a technical- or business-related discipline or at least three years of directly related experience and solid technical skills with Windows 7 and above and Apple OS 10.10 and above and with online applications; a track record of successful IT project coordination and skills; knowledge of a range of applications and software including content management systems, image-editing software, social media platforms, MS Office, and enterprise-wide systems; knowledge of Drupal administration and development; meticulous attention to detail; strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills; and the ability to work with minimal supervision as part of a team. Salary range: $55,140-70,000
