THE ROLE

You are required to carry out PPM and Breakdown maintenance of all automated warehouse equipment and machines on site including product system faults, mechanical machine failures, including, roller and bearing changes and pneumatic.. You are required to carry out installation, maintenance of a variety of machinery to distribute and store products and modification to maintain buildings and premises. These machines include conveyors, sorting machines, picking stations, tote and pallet crane retrieval systems, Constructor Tornado vertical towers, Paternosters carousels. Supervising installation teams of 2-6 people.

 

THE JOB HOLDER

Technician with a mechanical background you will have knowledge and experience of maintaining automated warehousing equipment, Conveyors (essential), vertical towers, carousels and storage cranes. You will have the ability to supervise other employees and sub-contractors. You are required to have good communication skills to effectively communicate with work colleagues and management. You are required to be self-motivated and work without supervision. Clean License and willing to work away from home for up to 2-3 weeks at any one time
