Job Summary | The University of Kentucky HealthCare Enterprise ( UKHC ) is seeking a Revenue Management Contracting Senior Specialist. This position is primarily responsible for participating in negotiations for Payer agreements on behalf of Physicians and Other Professional providers. The primary focus of this position is to support the negotiations and implementation of the managed care agreements and contract compliance. Additionally, the position coordinates closely with operational managers and their units to assure the success of contract performance and works through any contract disputes to include service catalog changes. |
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities | The ideal candidate must have experience in progressively responsible positions in healthcare payer contracting or health plan environment. |

Preferred Education/Experience | Prefer experience in negotiating and implementing managed care contracts for hospitals, medical groups and/or HMO's, and demonstrated experience in establishing charge masters for medical groups. |
