Shift Primarily days - 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. However, this is an exempt position and may require additional time during evenings, weekends, and holidays to accomplish work goals.
Job Summary The University of Kentucky is seeking an Enterprise Applications Group Team Lead. With a direct reporting relationship to the Executive Director of Enterprise Applications and a dotted reporting relationship to the Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer, this position leads the team responsible for support and innovation within our Enterprise Applications Human Resources team. In addition to managing the team of functional and developer professionals, this person partners with other leaders (such as Business Owners, EA leadership, Service Desk, BASIS , etc.) to ensure the most effective and efficient use of current tools and helps define the future environment in helping our customers manage the resources of the University.
The Human Capital Management ( HCM ) Team Lead position serves as the service owner for SAP's HCM module and is responsible for roadmaps, service design, and continual improvement.
This position will has supervisory responsibilities; managing day-to-day operations within the SAP HCM group; managing employees assigned to the Group; and assigning mentors for employees. Employee training is also crucial, and this position will formulate and execute a knowledge transfer program; maintain a high level of morale; and provide development opportunities for the unit.
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities The ideal candidate must have a working knowledge of Human Resources topics and needs (Hiring, Onboarding, Payroll, Benefits, Compensation, etc.); the ability to multi-task; solid time management; critical thinking; follow through; excellent project planning and organizational skills; leadership skills to include the ability to lead and direct others toward goal setting and attainment, taking into account divergent demands while managing scope and timelines; exceptional communication skills (written & verbal); collaboration; customer service; confidentiality; enjoy working independently as well as in a group; a thorough understanding of resource and employee management; strategic thinking; change management; planning and organizing; and effective project management skills.
