Intramurals & Club Sports Marketing Assistant

Position Category: Student (Variable Hour)

Summary:

Assist the Program Manager and Assistant Coordinator with in-office needs to effectively and efficiently promote and market Intramurals and Club Sports programs and events.

Work on various marketing campaigns, managing social media platforms, assisting with photo/video shoots, etc.

Provide videography and photography to be utilized on highly visible marketing pieces (print, digital and web).

Take a creative role in editing photos and video using Adobe Creative Suite.

Develop creative ideas and concepts for comprehensive marketing campaigns and associated materials.

Work independently and in a team setting to produce clear, consistent, creative, and compelling and concise designs in a timely manner.

Assist in managing website content.

Assist with Intramurals and Club Sports projects and other duties as assigned.

Help with promoting events, programs, and facilities.

Required Qualifications:
Current UVU Student

Demonstrated proficiency and skill in Photography, Adobe Creative Suite including InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.

Evening or weekend work and/or occasional travel may be expected based on changing needs, requirements, deadlines, and budgetary constraints

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Knowledge and skill in design, layout, and illustration.
Photography and Videography skills.
Excellent organization and communication skills.
Excellent customer Service.
Ability to work independently and with minimal supervisor.

Preferred Qualifications:

Physical Requirements:
Involves combination of office/computer work settings, as well as physical presence in and around recreational facilities. It is essential to be able to meet the physical demands of remaining at a desk/computer work station for prolonged periods of time, using repetitive arm, hand and finger movements. Some stooping, kneeling, bending, crouching, lifting, walking, carrying or moving of objects and other movements may be required. This position may be required to spend time outdoors and lift up to 50 lbs with assistance.

Pay Range: $9/hr
