Textile Technician Level II General Summary In depth knowledge of textile equipment set up and troubleshooting. Able to work independently to perform work required. Review documents and fill out forms required neatly and legibly. Performs tasks related to assembly, inspections and measurements, and manufacturing of textiles as required. Understands and follows all rules related to GMP, documentation, and clean room requirements. Takes direction from Production Manager or lead person. Performs duties in a skilled and timely manner. Principal Duties and Responsibilities: Able to set up and run knitting, weaving, braiding and non-wovens equipment. Works independently and with teams on maximizing yields and processes. Perform inspection, assembly, and measurement duties. Provide training for technicians to assist and set up equipment. Able to run light manufacturing equipment. Work with supervisor to help overcome issues and improve process. Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned Education and/or Experience: Required o High School or Equivalent education o 5-10 years of direct textile experience setting up and running machines. o Fluent in written and spoken English. o Familiarity with clean room environments preferred.
