Assistant Professor

The University of Alabama seeks applicants for the full-time position of Associate Dean for Legal Information Services and Asst. Professor of Law. The person in this position directs the Bounds Law Library and oversees all library functions and staff. The person in this position will teach legal research courses, with the possibility of teaching a substantive doctrinal course.

The University of Alabama seeks applicants for the full-time position of Associate Dean for Legal Information Services and Asst. Professor of Law. The person in this position directs the Bounds Law Library and oversees all library functions and staff. The person in this position will teach legal research courses, with the possibility of teaching a substantive doctrinal course. The rank of faculty appointment - assistant, associate, or professor - will be dependent upon qualifications and experience. This non-tenured appointment consists of a three-year contract followed with eligibility for renewable, long-term contracts. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS : a law degree from an ABA accredited law school, a degree in library or information science, substantial experience working in a law library setting, and outstanding legal research ability. Preference will be given to candidates with leadership and teaching experience. Salary will be commensurate with experience. Apply online at http://facultyjobs.ua.edu.
