Director Of Operations and Manufacturing

We are a rapidly growing greater New York City medical device manufacturer looking for a hands on Manufacturing/Operations leader with a strong, relevant background to build and ship our world-class wearable product globally. As a member of the team, you will oversee our production team and manufactring facilities across the United States, and manage all manufacturing/puchasing/shipping/fulfilment operations for the organization. While on the job you will work closely with sales to manage production and meet on-time deliveries.

We are looking for a candidate with a background in medical device and/or consumer products manufacturing operations. The candidate must be a multi-tasker, able to do and manage, and have small buisness experience (less than 100 employees).

Candidate Qualities

• Operations/Manufacturing +5 Years of expereince
• Relevant, quite successful small buisness experience
• Understands quality systems and ISO13485 (do not apply if you do not know what this is)
• Able to meet agreed-on production plan, operational goals and other metrics
• Can strategize and effectively implement puchasing/inventory/production plans
• Can audit suppliers
• Strong ability to prioritize
• Highly organized
• Always keeps things confidential (as a medical company, we adhere to strict regulations in this area)
• Can contribute effectively and positively to company efforts and to the great team we’ve assembled
• Is energetic and enthusiastic for always doing excellent work and helping co-workers do their work well
• Always, always promptly follows through -terrific work ethic: reliable, responsible, honest, on time
