The Harvey Lindsay School of Real Estate, Strome College of Business at Old Dominion University invites nominations and applications for Associate Professor of Real Estate. Responsibilities include teaching, research, outreach to the real estate community, as well as service to the university, college and school. The College offers an undergraduate major and minor in real estate.
We seek a talented professional whose interests include residential and commercial real estate, the blending of practical and theoretical interests to engage students and the real estate industry. The successful candidate will possess an earned doctorate degree in finance, real estate, or economics; will have a substantial research record; and experience in real estate instruction at an AACSB accredited program. Preference will be given to those candidates who have participated in developing real estate curriculum, have a demonstrated interest in growing student enrollments in real estate, and experience teaching on distance learning.
The Strome College includes The Lindsay School of Real Estate and the E. V. Williams Center for Real Estate and Economic Development. The Williams Center offers programs and services to the community including an annual real estate market review, sponsored research, and guest lecture series. The College offers an undergraduate program, an MBA , a PhD with concentrations in Finance, Marketing, Management, and Information Technology, and a PhD Program in Public Administration and Urban Policy.

Minimum Qualifications - knowledge, skills, and abilities
