Job Summary:

Starting pay is based on experience, with a minimum starting rate of $18.03 an hour.

This position is responsible for financial management duties in the Mathematics Department, College of Letters and Sciences. This position requires organizational and customer service skills. Responsibilities include: all procurement, conference management, post Grant Award monitoring, E-reimbursement. The position is responsible for maintaining individual accounts on a local computer accounting system, developing and maintaining spreadsheets and utilizing the shared financial system--WISDM, HRS, ProCard to manage and monitor Financial information.

Maintaining contacts with L&S Dean's office, Office of Research and Sponsored Programs, Business Services, UW Foundation, Graduate School and outside vendors is an ongoing part of the job. As cardholder for the Department travel charge card, manage and monitor the use of the card including reporting. Provide needed information to staff developing budgets and in the management of the Funds. Act as Department contact to faculty, staff and students developing and holding conferences.
