Executive Director, Human Resources and Strategic Talent Management

Job Description:
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR, HUMAN RESOURCES AND STRATEGIC TALENT MANAGEMENT, Resource Development, to act as both advisor and partner to MIT Resource Development's leadership. Will lead the MIT Resource Development's Human Resources and Strategic Talent Management function, champion best practices in HR and execute strategies to build a world-class talent capability, and drive organizational improvement and strategic talent management initiatives. The focus will be on attracting high quality talent, implementing workforce planning, delivering leadership development, and maintaining positive employee relations and culture. Responsibilities include developing a multiyear workforce plan and integrated strategy that builds talent needed to achieve campaign goals; manage an organization-wide talent review, management assessment, development plans for high-potentials, performance management, and learning and development programs; develop key indicators and metrics to determine progress; direct compensation-related activities; benchmark rewards and recognition practices to support talent management goals; develop and implement diversity and inclusion initiatives and training; oversee employee relations issues and provide advice and counsel to management on conflict resolution; and partner with central HR as needed.

Job Requirements:
REQUIRED: a bachelor's degree (advanced degree preferred); ten-plus years of progressive responsibility; demonstrated success and expertise in talent management, assessment, engagement, and development; generalist experience in a leadership role; experience as a strategic leader of a successful team and proven ability to attract, build, develop, and mentor; exceptional interpersonal and relationship building skills; and the ability to influence high level stakeholder. Experience in the advancement field in a large, complex organization is preferred. Higher education experience would be a plus. Job #14638-R
