Writing Lecturer in Communication

 

Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for a nine-month, non-tenure-track Writing Lecturer faculty position in the School of Communication and Media, which is effective Aug. 7, 2017. Candidates should possess expertise in teaching Associated Press style and the inverted pyramid writing format for print and online media for a lower-division writing course and be available to teach other courses for which the candidate is qualified. The successful candidate will be expected to provide service to the school, university and wider community. An earned master's degree in Journalism, Communication, Public Relations, Mass Communication, or related discipline or the foreign equivalent, or its equivalent in training, ability, and/or experience is required. Experience in writing for the media and university-level teaching are both highly desired.
