Responsible for the financial management and reporting of the Howard Community College Educational Foundation in support of the development office. Manages the distribution of scholarship, program, and grant funds to HCC. Interfaces with multiple HCC departments and external organizations to accomplish stated objectives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree with coursework in accounting
- Experience performing account analysis, reconciliations, cash management, and month-end and year-end close
- Experience preparing financial reports and audit schedules
- Demonstrated ability to manage and organize large amounts of data
- Extensive experience using automated accounting systems, relational databases, report writing tools, and Microsoft Office products
- Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communications skills
- Ability to work well under pressure to meet deadlines
Additional Information:
- Hours Per Week: 37.5
- Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm
- Compensation: $59,334. Plus excellent health insurance, tuition reimbursement and paid leave.
- FLSA Status: Exempt from overtime
- Grade: 14
