Degree and area of specialization:

Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science required

Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:

- Strong financial management, analytical and writing skills required.
- Ability to communicate effectively and diplomatically in written and verbal forms with research sponsors, faculty, researchers and staff at all levels required.
- Excellent problem solving, organizational and computer skills required.

- Experience for a minimum of 2 years in a medical, research, or educational setting desired.
- IRB or other regulatory familiarity desired.
- Experience with research-related contracts, grants, and grant budgeting desired.
- Knowledge of University and federal policies and procedures involving human subjects research and HIPAA regulations desirable.
- Professional experience with progressively increasing responsibility in fiscal and operations management desired.

Position Summary:

The incumbent in this position will serve as the Research Administrator and the primary contact for Dr. Nasia Safdar's Research Program.
