Depending on Qualifications

Degree and area of specialization:

BA or BS in neuroscience, biological sciences, engineering or related fields is required. MS or PhD is highly desirable.

Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:

Experience in engineering and/or programming laboratory equipment in a research setting is required.
Experience and interest with state-of-the-art electrophysiological (EEG) research methodology and image processing tools is desired. Proficiency with data analysis tools such as R, Python, or Matlab with basic programming expertise in at least one of these software programs is highly desirable. Prior experience working in a clinical setting and/or with human research participants is highly desirable.

License or Certificate:

Position Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and troubleshooting a new high density electroencephalogram (HD EEG) system which will be used for clinical and research purposes.

Additional Information:

The successful candidate must also possess excellent interpersonal, communication, problem-solving and organizational skills. Excellent spoken and written communication skills required.

In additional to a criminal background check, this offer is also conditional, pending the results of a caregiver background check. If the results of the check are unacceptable, the offer will be withdrawn. If you have started you appointment, your appointment will be terminated.

This position will end one year from the start date with the possibility of a one year extension. There is also the possibility that this position could be changed to a fixed term renewable position depending on availability of funding.
