Degree and area of specialization:

Four (4) year bachelor's degree in architecture or a related field or equivalent work experience as a registered architect is required.

Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:

A minimum of three (3) years of professional experience working as a licensed architect is required (7 years required for appointment at the senior level).

Position Summary:

Facilities Architect for Administration at the School of Medicine and Public Health. Design, project management, construction administration, feasibility, cost estimate, project schedule, pre-planning and programing of future SMPH space needs. WIMR, MSC, HSLC, WisPic, MFCB, CSC, WARF, in addition to 10-15 leased buildings. Architect, engineer and vendor coordination and move management.

Additional Information:

Schedule: Our standard hours are 7:45 am to 4:30 pm. The exact schedule can be flexible and will be determined at the time of hire.
