The School of Professional Studies (SPS) at Columbia University invites applications for one or more positions at the rank of Associate Professor of Professional Practice or Professor of Professional Practice specializing in the field of data analytics and design. Faculty in these ranks will teach data analytics and design courses in one or more of the following areas:

-data science
-cybersecurity
-analytics
-innovation and design
-risk management
-knowledge strategy
-management

This position will begin on July 1, 2017. This is a full-time appointment with multi-year renewal contingent on successful review.

Successful candidates will exhibit a commitment to excellence in teaching, professional practice and/or scholarship, mentoring, and instructional design.

The ideal candidate will hold a doctoral degree, terminal degree, or its professional equivalent in computer science, engineering, business, or a related field.
