The School of Professional Studies (SPS) at Columbia University invites applications for a full-time position at the rank of Lecturer in Discipline or Senior Lecturer in Discipline to teach in the MS Program in Nonprofit Management. This position will begin on July 1, 2017. This is a full-time appointment with multi-year renewal contingent on successful review.
The successful candidate will teach courses in nonprofit management in one or more of the following areas:
-nonprofit governance
-ethics in the nonprofit sector
-nonprofit financial management
-marketing and communications in nonprofit sector
-nonprofit data analytics/metrics
-managing nonprofit assets: human and data
The successful candidate will exhibit a commitment to excellence in teaching, mentoring, instructional design, and professional practice and/or scholarship.
The ideal candidate will hold a doctoral degree, terminal degree, or its professional equivalent in law, financial management, public administration, business administration, business ethics, or another area related to nonprofit management.
