Talent Management Consultant

Job Description:
TALENT MANAGEMENT CONSULTANT, Human Resources (HR)- Organization and Talent Development , to collaborate with HR colleagues, HR business partners, and MIT leaders and managers to enable MIT's diverse staff to be fully engaged and reach their full potential. Responsibilities include consulting with departments' leadership and HR business partners to identify, support, and sustain department-specific efforts and MIT-wide initiatives that ensure an inclusive, diverse work environment; increase organizational effectiveness; measure and increase employee engagement; build management and leadership capability; maximize employee performance, development, and career growth; and promote a culture of learning.

Job Requirements:
REQUIRED: bachelor's degree in business, organization development, training and development, HR, or related field; minimum of five years' direct/related consulting and training experience; experience applying talent management, change management, organizational design, and workforce planning principles in large, complex organizations; ability to assess organizational culture and create and implement appropriate interventions; ability to influence cross-functionally using a consultative and collaborative methodology; excellent interpersonal skills in a culturally diverse environment; exceptional organizational skills; ability to partner with others to assure high quality outcomes; knowledge of adult learning theory and experience developing innovative learning solutions across a range of organizational levels; strong presentation, meeting design, instructional design, and facilitation skills; experience designing, delivering, evaluating, and assessing learner-centered, results-based training; track record of collaborating with communication colleagues and ensuring that program-specific messaging and branding is consistent with departmental communications approach; ability to complete multiple projects and measure results; excellent written and verbal communication skills; and ability to analyze issues and data to develop practical solutions and influence decision making.
