Summary of Job Duties
The Marketing Assistant - Videographer will capture video and edit footage of UREC events, programs, classes, sports, and assigned video shoots. The Marketing Assistant- Videographer will ensure participants provide consent to appear in media, direct participants as necessary, when applicable. This position will also manage video platforms like YouTube and/or Facebook, advertise and provide accurate information about all UREC programs, services, and facilities and assist with special events sponsored by UREC . The Marketing Assistant- Videographer must represent University Recreation in a professional manner.

Minimum Qualifications

Please ensure that all relevant application materials include details addressing the minimum qualifications. Applicants not meeting the minimum qualifications will be disqualified from consideration.
  • Proficient with DSLR style cameras and other video production equipment, including audio and lighting gear
  • Capable of editing in a timely manner, potentially under deadlines while proficiently using Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, etc.)
  • Able to communicate effectively with patrons and UREC Staff
  • Must be a current University of Arkansas student
