Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM; this is a temporary position to end on or before June 30, 2018 with a possibility of renewal on an annual basis if program needs exist.

Job Summary:
Why settle for a job when you can have a career? California State University, Fullerton is seeking an Administrative Analyst/Specialist- Exempt I. Under general direction, the Administrative Analyst/Specialist- Exempt I oversees the College of Education database that maintains credential student enrollment and tracks and consolidates data from multiple sources. Monitors credential admissions data entry policies/procedures and evaluates the accuracy and completeness of the admissions and enrollment data. Responsible for the coding of credential students in the student information system upon program admittance. Updates alumni information as needed, manages enrollment holds, and generates various data reports. Identifies and coordinates lists of credential completers for ceremony and various reports. Supports Research/Data Analyst with data reporting. Other duties as assigned.



Essential Qualifications:
Bachelors degree from an accredited four-year college or university and/or the equivalent training and administrative work experience involving the study, analysis, evaluation, development or improvement of administrative policies, procedures, practices or programs plus two years of related experience.
Experience with relational databases, database structures and knowledge of creating Microsoft Access queries to extract data and produce reports. Working knowledge of and the ability to apply standard theories, principles, practices, and techniques applicable to the program or administrative specialty to develop conclusions and make recommendations. Thorough knowledge of policies, procedures, and outside regulations pertaining to the applicable program or administrative specialty. Working knowledge of operational and fiscal analysis and techniques. Ability to take initiative and plan, organize, coordinate, and perform work in various situations where numerous and diverse demands are involved. Skilled in research, development, and evaluation of policies and programs. Ability to collect, evaluate, and interpret data to develop sound conclusions and make appropriate recommendations. Expertise investigating and analyzing problems with broad administrative impact and implications. Ability to anticipate problems and address them proactively. Demonstrated ability to effectively interpret, organize, and present information and ideas in written or presentation form. Ability to train others on new skills and procedures and provide lead work direction.
