About the Position

The Scheduling Analyst provides information and technical support to the Director and Program Coordinators for scheduling courses and produces, maintains and monitors all School, HR and Faculty Affairs forms for processing appointment and fiscal compensation of Temporary Faculty. The position provides administrative and analytical support for day-to-day operations of the Director's office. The Scheduling Analyst is also responsible for strategic support, implementation, and oversight of a wide range of student and school services to support such important functions as curriculum development, student success, and assistance with outreach to alumni and the community.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

-Serve as a resource for the Director, faculty, staff, students and the public on University policy and procedures related to faculty appointments including, but not limited to: order of work and other faculty contract issues; timelines and deadlines; and liaising with the Dean's office on temporary faculty appointment procedures.

-Compile, organize and disseminate information regarding deadlines for appointment papers and schedule of classes. Maintains School meeting calendar, and informs faculty and staff of School all meetings and deadlines.

-Develop and maintain databases on faculty appointment, recording WTUs for each term, to ensure the correctness of salaries; eligibility for increases, merit awards, range elevation, and other related processes.

-Processes appointment and reappointment papers for each faculty member and ensure the correctness of the salary as coordinated with the Director and Dean's Office. Maintain confidential personnel files, absence reports, and other employment records for the School. Ensure that the School maintains accurate and compliant applicant pools.

-Assist the Director, Associate Directors, and Area Coordinators in preparing an effective schedule of classes, assigning classrooms, and ensuring that the schedule meets the student success goals (e.g., roadmaps, etc.) for the School.

-Gather and track School data about student success (e.g., graduation, retention, student progress) for the School as required and requested by Director and Dean or designee.

-Enter schedule into the University's master computerized schedule, notify faculty of their individual schedule, and process any changes or corrections.

-Review with each faculty member room and time assignment for individual courses/assignments to ensure curricular requirements.

-Analyze enrollment-planning data and work with Financial Analyst to assure scheduling, faculty appointments and School salary budgets are in alignment.
