About the Position
Exercising considerable latitude in tactical decision making, the Facilities Project Supervisor is responsible for performing the full range of maintenance, repair, construction and renovation of University property, structures and related building systems to ensure a clean, safe and attractive learning environment. The incumbent will also provide comprehensive technical project leadership; act as key liaison with customers; coordinate job estimates; ensure supplies and materials are available for jobs; and will be responsible for supervising one or more small groups or crews composed of semi-skilled and skilled journey-level crafts workers from more than one trade. Position makes decisions based upon Uniform Building Codes, Public Works, General Conditions and sound maintenance practice.
