NSF’s Directorate for Computer and Information Science and Engineering (CISE) is seeking a candidate for its Office Director, Office of Advanced Cyberinfrastructure (OAC).  OAC supports and coordinates the exploration, development, acquisition, and provision of state-of-the-art cyberinfrastructure resources, tools and services essential to the advancement and transformation of science and engineering.  OAC also supports forward-looking research and education to expand the future capabilities of the research cyberinfrastructure, and takes a broad view that includes development of software suites and tolls, exploration of data science and management for pursuing new scientific and engineering frontiers, and other research-driven capabilities.  Information about the Office’s activities may be found at http://www.nsf.gov/home/cise/aci.

 

Appointment to this Senior Executive Service positions may be on a career basis, one a one-to-three year limited-term basis, with a salary range of $163,519 to $181,600.
