Summary of Job Duties
The IT Graduate Assistant for Human Resources is responsible for assisting Department IT with responding to and assisting users with questions and concerns relating to a particular area, such as hardware, software and network stations. Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software to support Human Resources staff. Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • The formal education equivalent of a bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, mathematics or a related field

Preferred Qualifications
  • At least two years of experience working in information technology
  • Experience working with Visual Basic, . NET , HTML , SQL , Access, and scripts
  • Experience working with DI Studio, SAS , SAS Visual Analytics
  • Experiencing with web designing and maintenance


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs)
  • Knowledge of application programming techniques and the execution and maintenance of automated information systems
  • Knowledge of data structures and the ability to learn new programming languages
  • Ability to communicate with staff regarding IT needs
  • Ability to modify and document program code to correct errors or enhance program capabilities
  • Ability to prepare documentation for users of the system
  • Ability to coordinate work activities
