Depending on Qualifications

Degree and area of specialization:

Bachelors degree required; preferred degree in health care, biological sciences, or related field

Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:

- 1-2 years experience in human subjects research or health-care setting preferred.
- Strong analytical and writing skills required.
- Ability to communicate effectively and diplomatically in written and verbal forms with research sponsors, faculty, researchers and staff at all levels required.
- Excellent problem solving, organizational, and computer skills required.
- Knowledge of University and federal policies and procedures involving human subjects research and HIPAA regulations highly desirable.

Position Summary:

The Regulatory Specialist (Administrative Program Specialist) will be responsible for providing wide ranging investigator support services for clinical research studies in the Respiratory Research Program at the UW School of Medicine and Public Health (SMPH).
