KEEN Administrative Coordinator

Maintain the KEEN grant from the Kern Family Foundation and all functions related to the grant.

The T.J. Smull College of Engineering is an undergraduate-only program which values the development of strong relationships between students, faculty, staff, and alumni. The KEEN (Kern Entrepreneurial Engineering Network, http://www.keennetwork.org/) program coordinator in the College of Engineering will assist in the administration of the KEEN program.

Principal Responsibilities:
- Coordinate internal and external communications with KEEN stakeholders: faculty, students, administrators, staff, alumni, industry contacts, KEEN partner schools, and the Kern Family Foundation
- Write and compile required annual reports and voluntary ad hoc stewardship updates to the Kern Family Foundation
- Assist with the implementation of grant activities, including helping faculty and staff schedule meetings, secure facility reservations, extend invitations for events, etc.
- Manage and communicate the overall budget for the College of Engineering's KEEN project
- Assist with managing undergraduate student workers involved in KEEN -funded activities
- Maintain a database of activities funded by KEEN as well as other complementary activities
- Maintain records of activities, including participating students, faculty, staff, alumni, and other stakeholders
- Maintain records of external contacts
- Process routine correspondence, mail, gifts and pledges, subscriptions, and information requests in a timely manner
- Work collaboratively with all university staff to promote esprit de corps
- Maintain and develop website(s)
- Maintain and develop social media accounts focused on KEEN activities at ONU
- Other duties as assigned

Required Skills:
- Microsoft Office
- An understanding of budgeting and tracking
- Good interpersonal skills

Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- Bachelor's Degree

Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's Degree
