Minimum Qualifications - Bachelor's degree
Preferred Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in health care, biological, physical or social sciences

- 0-2 years working in a research or clinical trials environment
- Reading and understanding of research principles and methodology and be able to apply that knowledge to a clinical trials environment
-Strong oral and written communication skills
-Ability to interact with patients and researchers independently using initiative and good judgement
-Ability to structure time to meet multiple deadlines

Preferred Qualifications
-2-4 years working in a Human research or clinical trials environment
- Experience in coordinating clinical research trails from various departments and sources
-Experience in approaching patients, discussing study, and conducting consenting
-Demonstrated experience in scheduling, coordinating, and conducting visits and study meetings

License or Certificate:

Position Summary:

This position involves coordinating clinical research trials for a variety of UW clinical departments. The primary duties of this job involve the management of clinical research trial activity for subjects enrolled in a variety of clinical research studies. Travel to offsite locations may be required to perform study-related procedures. This position will report to the OCT Research Program Manager in the clinical arm of the department and work under the general direction of the OCT director along with principal investigators for each assigned research study.

Additional Information:

Travel amongst multiple sites on and off campus and within Madison is required.
