Position Description:

Provides day-to-day administration, consultative services and support for FMLA, ADA, and workers compensation cases; administers the university's Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) policy and workers' compensation program for faculty, staff, and student employees; serves as point of contact for employees, prospective employees, and visitors regarding accessibility and accommodations; interacts with the employee and/or supervisor to identify and provide reasonable accommodations; coordinates and maintains documentation on accommodation efforts; participates in developing, implementing, and monitoring policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines for determining and assessing reasonable accommodations for faculty and staff with disabilities; serves as a consultant regarding the overlapping benefits and protections provided by Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), FMLA, and workers' compensation; and facilitates the university catastrophic leave program.

Education Requirements:

Bachelor's degree required.

Required Qualifications:

At least three years of combined experience in providing reasonable accommodations for persons with disabilities and ADA, workers' compensation, FMLA and the Rehabilitation Act sections required. Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills also required.
