Career Resource Specialist - Vocational Evaluator (Woonsocket)
A Day in the Life
This position is writing Vocational Evaluations with students and adults supporting them at their job site and providing transportation to and from the site. You will also be working with students in a school setting to discuss their options after high school (interest testing, exploring fields, researching military and colleges.) Some other job duties will include:
- Traveling to different schools and libraries to work with students and adult clients.
- Developing relationships with businesses both in-person and over the phone to set up assessments to have clients observe and shadow in the community. For example, if a student/adult thinks they want to work in an auto body shop -contacting local businesses to have the client do a work assessment for 20 hrs.

- You have Human Services or vocational experience.
- You are pursuing a degree in Psychology, Human Services or Social Work.
- You have personal or professional experience working around physical or mental barriers.

- Schedule is part-time at 20-25 hours/week: 8am - 1pm or 9am - 2pm availability needed!
