Job Summary

The Bowdoin Shuttle Driver is responsible for providing on-demand transportation services to Bowdoin students within the Brunswick area. The Driver will operate a 7 passenger van, provide superior customer service, maintain a clean vehicle, operate radio communication device and complete daily/weekly reports.

Education/Skills Requirements

High school diploma or GED required Demonstrated excellent customer service skills Strong, diplomatic verbal communication skills Good judgment and decision making ability Dependable, punctual and courteous A valid Driver's license and the ability to meet the requirements of the College's Motor Vehicle Use Policy required. The successful candidates will be subject to a background check (criminal and MVR ) and pre-placement physical.

Experience Requirements and/or Equivalents

At least 1 year of experience driving multi-passenger vans (at least 7 passenger vans) in all weather conditions. Demonstrated experience working evening/night shift

Standard Work Days and Hours

Friday 6:00 p.m. - 3:00 a.m.
Saturday 6:00 p.m. - 3:00 a.m.
Additional hours as needed
